Pet Policy

Deposit $300 - $600

1 Pet (less than 20 pounds full-grown): $300 deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus $15/month pet fee. 

1 Pet (21 - 40 pounds full-grown): $600 deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus a $25/month pet fee. 

1 Pet (41 - 60 pounds full-grown): $600 deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus a $35/month pet fee. 

2 Pets (Maximum total weight, of both pets combined, 60 pounds full grown): $600 pet deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus $35/month pet fee. 

Restricted dog breeds include any dogs which are partial, or full, Pit Bull, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, English Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Doberman, Alaskan Malamutes, Huskies, Presa Canario, Saint Bernard, Great Dane, Akita, Rhodesian Ridgeback, German Sheppard, Bluetick Coonhound, Catahoula Hound or Boxer. 1st Lake reserves the right to restrict any other breed or animal.

I moved to Lakes of Chateau South from out of state, the ladies in the office; Stephanie, Shelly and Nadia did an outstanding job of getting me into my new home. Everything went quickly and smoothly. Because I lived out of state, I didn't have the luxury of doing a walk through of my one bedroom until I was actually moving in. I was pleasantly suprised with how much space there is and how clean it is. The grounds of this gated community are well landscaped and manicured. Also a big shout out to Haley for helping me get my online payments set up!

I’m here for business and wanted to find a place that’s more private than a hotel…the Lakes of Chateau North & South is a perfect fit. The community and surrounding area is gorgeous. The staff (Ms. Shelly Morrow) was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt totally welcomed there ❤️❤️❤️

Misty and her staff at the Lakes of Chateau South were amazing to deal with while we were relocated from our home due to hurricane Ida. If we ever had an issue while staying in the apartment community they were very swift to deal with it. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and the other residents were nice. I would recommend the Lakes of Chateau South if you are ever searching for an apartment.

My husband and I walked in the Kenner office 5 minutes before closing time. We were expecting to be rushed out but it was totally the opposite of what we expected. The ladies were very inviting and very helpful with our requests. The fact that they followed up everyday until we were approved spoke volumes and we are forever grateful. Shelly gave me a tour of the two bedroom units with attached garage. She was very professional and informative throughout our correspondence. The property was well kept and quiet. Beginning with the grounds always being well maintained, to the office ''staff" that are ALL courteous and respectful, to finally the maintenance crew that does what they are supposed to do--do it when it is scheduled, and respect my possessions.
