Deposit $300 - $600

1 Pet (less than 20 pounds full grown): $300 deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus $15/month pet fee.

1 Pet (21 - 40 pounds full grown): $600 deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus a $25/month pet fee.

2 Pets (Maximum total weight, of both pets combined, 40 pounds full grown): $600 deposit of which $100 is non-refundable, plus $25/month pet fee.

Restricted dog breeds include any dogs which are partial, or full, Pit Bull, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, English Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Doberman, Alaskan Malamutes, Huskies, Presa Canario, Saint Bernard, Great Dane, Akita, Rhodesian Ridgeback, German Sheppard, Bluetick Coonhound, Catahoula Hound or Boxer. 1st Lake reserves the right to restrict any other breed or animal.

Lived here about a year. No complaints whatsoever. Staff is awesome. Maintenance is quick. The place is spacious and well laid out. Very convenient with grocery stores, pharmacies, and a few restaurants all within a couple miles. Looked at about 10-15 other apartments before this one. Glad I went with Pelican Bay.

Swimming in the pool One of the reasons I love this place is the beautiful pool area. My granddaughter enjoys swimming here, and the pool and surrounding areas are always clean and well kept.

After living at other apartment complexes over the years, I have finally found my home. Pelican Bay is the perfect apartment complex for the professional adult. It is peaceful, safe and a wonderful environment. The apartment amenities are fabulous and when I get home from work there are never screaming kids, rude neighbors or people at the pool making too much noise. Both the neighbors and staff are kind and courteous. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a home, not an apartment.

Over the years, I've lived in four apartment communities. Pelican Bay is, by far, the best and most comfortable living experience and environment that my family and I have ever been apart of. From the accommodating office staff, to the maintenance crew, everyone here makes the concept of "feeling at home" a top priority. The units are very spacious, modern, contemporary, and simply beautiful. The landscaping, including the pool courtyard, is exceptionally well kept, evidenced by the properties' multiple 1st place finish in the Beautification Award. Pelican Bay is smaller than most communities with professional, respectful, and quiet neighbors. Lastly, from the access gate to a significant police presence from Kenner P.D., this is one of the safest communities in the entire metropolitan area. I would highly recommend Pelican Bay Garden Apartments to those looking for a beautiful, professional, and safe community. Clarence J.

I recently moved to Pelican Bay. It took me a while to move out of my moms house because I couldn't find anywhere I thought was safe enough. I like that there is a gate so not just anyone can come on to the property. Also, there is a lot of storage in the apartments. I highly recommend this 1st lake complex.

We've been residents for a few months because we relocated to the area from out of state. Here are our thoughts so far... Property: Small complex, off the main road, gated community with card key access, well maintained grounds, unassigned parking, in ground pool and trash pick up. Details: The area surrounding the complex seems decent. Don't really hear any noise or have a problem walking outside the gates. Parking is okay. Love the gate! The grounds are always beautiful and well kept. We have not been to the pool yet but, it seems like a nice get away spot lol Pests: Rarely seen any bugs inside, which is great! However, outside is a different story. Office:The front office personnel are very professional and go above and beyond to fulfill any requests. Friendly and courteous Management helps make any living experience enjoyable, in my opinion. Maintenance: For large issues, it may take time to fix because the Maintenance workers are shared between multiple properties. Small issues are fixed the same day. All of the workers are friendly, communicate well and follow up. Other notes: We lost 100 sqft moving here but, haven't noticed it because of the nice open floor plan. Lots of natural light, spacious bedrooms and nice features in the apts. As far as the neighbors, some keep to themselves and others speak to you and try to make small talk. We love the small complex! We like that there are several grass areas for our furbabie to play on and get her daily exercise. Pet rent is new to us and we thought it was absurd but, we understand...The cost of rent is on the pricey side but, we will pay extra for security, peace of mind, amenities like washer and dryer being included etc. etc :-) I doubt we will move once our lease is up. I don't think another complex would satisfy us or live up to Pelican Bay standards. We are happy!

WE JUST LOVE IT! We are living in a quiet community where everyone is friendly and we're at home living at Pelican Bay Apartments! The living space is spacious and accommodates our large furniture and walkers. The oversize door frames on the doors makes it easy for us to get in and out with our scooters throughout our apartment. This is very important when you are handicapped. This apartment was made for us!
