During my stay for over six years at Oak Creek apartments. My stay there was awesome, I lived close to my office and there are a few great restaurants near by.If you want to downtown New Orleans its only about 10-15 minutes, airport about the same. My point is Oak Creek apartments is almost in the center to where you can go in any direction and get there quick and easy. Oak Creek is quite most of the time. One of the the most important things i will miss is the management team. I was always treated with respect and if i had any problems it was taken care of in a timely manner. I will miss Oak Creek apartment. But it's my time to move on with purchasing a new home.

I looked a many apartments before visiting Oak Creek and I'm so glad I took the time to visit here because I found my new home. The apartments are spacious, the grounds are pretty and well kept, front office staff and maintenance staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and have become some of my newest friends. I have never encountered a delay in any maintenance being performed when requested and it is always done correctly. Neighbors are friendly. If you are looking for an apartment in a great and safe area, check this complex out!!!!!

So happy in the Ridge I've been at Oak Creek for about 2 years and love it. The bonus sun room and storage closet add an amazing amount of square footage. I'm on the 3rd floor so my ceilings are high and make the place feel very spacious. I've only had two issues with appliances; both were reported in the evening and fixed the next morning. They pressure wash the outside of the building pretty often so there is no build up of spider webs, leaves, or bug nests. They are also very vigilant about trash or items left on the porches so it keeps the whole neighborhood looking very neat and nice.

Great! The Creeks of River Ridge are great. I love looking out my window to the fountain in the courtyard. The closet space is everything!! The staff is phenomenal!!

Oak Creek Apartments The apartments are very beautiful and the people in the office are very nice. Price is ok, for a one bedroom it is 852. You are paying for the area. Very good area. Haven't had any problems other then there's a lot of tress so it tends to get a few bugs in the apartment. I've been here over a year and really have no complaints. Every time we have had a problem they were right here to fix it. I am actually about to resign my lease because I love it here so much. They also have an alarm system and fire place that helps my girlfriend feel more comfortable and safe.

All over Good Review A few minor things that could improve(1 dumpster ALWAYS full and kinda gross, no sun around pool). Over all quiet and clean grounds. Landscaping is top of the line. Wish I still had my balcony and not the sunroom.

I love my home in the Oak Creek Apartments! They are overall a safe and welcoming place to live. I have loved my time here and I haven't had a problem that the staff of the rental office couldn't solve. The maintenance workers especially Stanley are always helpful and go above and beyond to make whatever is wrong, right.

Great apartment choice. A lots of parking spots, beautiful landscaping. Very nice and helpful staff, office part as well as maintenance employees, etc. Easy infrastructure between downtown and the apartment complex.

I love this little area of New Orleans, Louisiana it is close to Kenner, Metairie, and Uptown New Orleans. I know when I was looking for a new apartment, I looked all over and I found this one to have all my needs met....The gardens are wonderfully maintained and a lovely place to walk around!!! They have tennis courts and beautiful pools that are very inviting to sit by and swim in. Come by and you will stay!!!

My boyfriend and I rent a 1 bedroom apartment (it is perfect for the two of us). The staff was very helpful and friendly when we were searching. We have two cats, we had to pay a 300$ pet deposit for both of them and do pay an extra 15$ a month for rent. It is a quiet safe neighborhood. Everyone is friendly and its a beautiful area. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe quiet neighborhood to check out these apartments.

Ive been here for 7 months and couldn't be happier, Im actually impressed with the response time to having things repaired which hasn't been much at all. These apartments are very well maintained, the landscaping is unbelievable. Everything is kept so clean. The office staff, Tiffany and Taylor as well as Stanley go out of their way to keep us happy.

We moved here from out of state, and have had the best experience to this day. We find parking right in front of our apartment, and the staff and maintenance are extremely friendly, as well as incredibly helpful. Any issues in our apartment (which are rare and not unusual) are taken care of right away. Tiffany and Erin in the office are always following up and making sure we are happy in our home, and our maintenance tech is very friendly and professional. Thank you Oak Creek for giving us a great place to call home!

I just moved in a few weeks ago,....so far all positives from me,.... The layout/design is A ,...if you get Plan B(1Bd),... Can't speak for others,...but my Apt. is in the perfect spot on grounds,... No problems with the apartment when I moved in,... The staff goes beyond their duties to make sure you are well taken care of in case of problems/questions/concerns,...

I've lived here for one year and am very pleased that I chose Oak Creek as my first home in New Orleans. These apartments are located in what is probably the safest area of metro New Orleans. This particular property is much more attractive and secluded than some of the other Creeks of River Ridge properties. There are plenty of oak trees and it's tucked away from any major road noise. Maintenance is very reliable and always around. Leslie and Erin down at the leasing office have made me feel at home during my first year here in New Orleans. Friendly people, safe area, reasonable rent, and well maintained.

This place is great. The apartments are nice. Granted, there are issues just like EVERY place. Do not let negative reviews turn you away. Come take a look at it -- or don't. I didn't and I still like it. I rented my unit from across the country without ever having been inside of it. The representative responsible for management is always around. Her name is Leslie and she is extremely helpful. Her assistant, Erin is also very helpful. Between the two of them I found numerous good places to eat, got a deal at a gym close by and a discount on a new futon. As I am a married law student, living alone, while my wife is across the country, I am rarely at home. While I have been off studying, the management has installed a new security system (free of charge). They have also addressed every issue I've brought up expediently and efficiently. The best part is they have done so quickly and without bothering or interfering with my stuff. In fact, there is a maintenance man -- his name is Stanley -- who seems to be constantly working to maintain the joint. The noise is not a problem. In fact, aside from meeting my new neighbors I have not heard a single thing. Their is plenty of parking. The grounds are clean, well manicured, and there is a nice pool. Sure, there are nicer apartments in the area, but if you want a place that is well managed and some good folks to live around then check it out.

I went to several apartment complexes in the Metairie/River Ridge area. The Oak Creek Apartments in River Ridge was the first apartment community I visited. The cleanliness of the grounds (and may I add - a dog park too!)and customer service (way to go Erin and Debbie) triggered me into coming back to see more. I visited the property several times and I knew this is the apartment community I wanted to be apart of. My apartment is perfect for me. I have been living in the complex for a few months. I have friendly neighbors; the office staff is terrific any minor problems I have had with the apartment was handled very efficiently and professionally; the maintenance staff is very friendly. Thus far, I have had a wonderful experience. If you are considering any community for its level of pleasantry, safety, professionalism and customer service, this is the place to consider. I highly recommend the Oak Creek Apartments.

This place is great for people who are from out of town and/or people who do not want to be apart of the Bourbon Street crowd. You do not have to deal with any parade traffic. The complex is very large for the area and extremely quiet for the large amount of people that live here. And it is safe especially for being in New Orleans. It is convienently located and you can get out of town to down in the Quarter in about 15 minutes. Everything you need is close by: food, movies, shopping, bars, gym, parks, etc. The only noise problems I have had besides the occasional thud from upstairs are the leaf blowers at 8am every Tuesday, and the fireworks on Friday night during the summer after the AAA baseball stadium. The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving out of state where I have to pay a lot more for a lot less.

This is one of the few places where I actually felt safe. I am not from the city and I am a college student, and this place was absolutly wonderful. It is very quiet and the people are extremely friendly. I had to move out of state after Katrina, but I still stay strong when I say that this was probably one of the best apartments to live in. Only minutes away from the city, and close enough for comfort. Staff is always friendly and fixed problems although they were usually minor. If I could live in the city again, this would be my first choice, hands down!
