The apartments are fine for what you’re paying for. It’s not updated, the kitchen is quite small, and the dumpster is far away. The only amenities you have access to is a pool. Now I like that my apartment is on the third floor and I have a vaulted ceiling and natural skylight. The location is generally safe and I haven’t had any problems security wise personally. There was an instance where 62 cars were broken into at another complex in the Creeks of River Ridge in January 2023 — Walnut Creek is one of many complexes on this property. I wish ownership would have sent out a notice about it instead of having to see it on the news and a ton of police cars. I’ve had some issues that haven’t been taken care of since I moved in — even after putting in a service request. I never had my security alarm fixed, which I was told would work when I moved in. I also have trash that construction workers left on a window balcony — however I’m unable to get it because the window is sealed off. Also there is a recurrent smell that comes from my sink, which I’ve also put service requests about but management insists they can’t smell it🤷🏽♀️. The apartment is in a convenient location. You’re located about a mile from Elmwood shopping center and a lot of restaurants. Also inner city New Orleans is only about a 15 -20 min drive. The airport is about a 15 min drive away as well. Update: there are no service requests on the account because they were deleted by you all.
