I lived at Riverwood for about a year. Out of all the 1st Lake properties I’ve lived in, I think Riverwood was definitely the best value for your money. It’s a very small, quiet community with very friendly neighbors and staff. My only complaint is that there were a lot of roaches in my unit, but I’ve experienced that in pretty much any apartment I’ve lived in.

I've been living at River Wood for 14 years. I love living here because I am not domestic pet friendly. No dogs. No cats. At least, not to my knowledge. I know that some residents sneak animals into their apartment after they move in. It's not a good thing to do. That breaks the rules. If people are not willing to abid by the company's rules regarding no pets, then they shouldn't move into this property. Accept for the common areas, i.e., the landings and steps, the property is well maintained. It's an old property, so it will have its challenges. I'd to see the landings and steps pressured washed on a regular basis. I'd like to see house light bulbs and parking lot bulbs replaced when they burn out. It is so quiet and peaceful at night, especially after Winn Dixie closes. The neighbors surrounding my apartment seem to retire pretty early. I am an impatient person. When I submit a maintenance request, I want it fulfilled in a timely manner so that I am not inconvenienced. But, all things considered, I think that First Lake does a good job at maintaining this property.

Very nice location and Farrah the manager is very helpful . She even came abs replaced my toilet seat that was broken . She didn’t have to do thst. She’s a very good manager

Farrah the apt. manager has been excellent in fulfilling my moving and apartment needs. I needed a first floor apartment because at times it's difficult for me to climb stairs. My house was sold recently and she managed to get me a first floor apartment right next to the entrance asap. She and I and my family was kept informed about the apartment with numerous phone calls. She has been very professional and is also a sweetheart to talk to and arrange everything. Deb

I'm not sure what the negative reviews in the last 3-6 months are about. I have enjoyed living here and I am nearing my year lease. The property is quiet, the neighbors stay to themselves and I have no problem getting anything fixed. My only complaint is that because this is an older property things are slightly outdated but nothing that you can't manage to live with. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to improve the closet space and opportunities for pets. This is near by my work,easy to access surrounding locations and there is law enforcement on the property. Brittany is pretty cool too. Very personable and makes sure to get any issues resolved. I love the simple life here and I think I'll be here for awhile!
