1st Lake Properties is looking for an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our growing team of top-notch apartment maintenance professionals.
What you’ll be doing:
- By providing friendly, courteous and timely resident service, you will play an integral part in resident satisfaction and retention. As a General Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Respond to maintenance needs including electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs
- Make ready apartments for new resident move-ins
- Have fun learning all facets of multi-family housing maintenance
- Some grounds maintenance work may be required depending upon the needs of the apartment community
- Being on-call is not a requirement of this position; however, our General Maintenance Technicians have the opportunity to participate in a voluntary on-call rotation
What we’re looking for:
- Familiarity with repairing electrical, plumbing and appliance concerns
- Superb resident communication skills and an ability to get the job done
- Great people skills that shine in a team environment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- Hourly pay with commissions earned as apartments are leased
