1st Lake Properties is looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our growing team of certified apartment maintenance professionals.
What you’ll be doing:
By providing friendly, courteous and expedient resident service, you will play an integral part in resident satisfaction and retention. As an Apartment Maintenance Technician you will:
- Respond to resident maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
- Prepare apartments for new resident move-ins
- Participate in an on-call rotation with other 1st Lake maintenance technicians for after-hours emergency calls
- Aid in inventory control and record keeping
- Required Skills
What we’re looking for:
- The most important skills and qualifications you can bring to this position include:
- HVAC certification (EPA certification)
- Familiarity with repairing electrical, plumbing and appliances
- Superb resident communication skills and an ability to get the job done
- Great people skills that shine in a team environment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
