This is a great place to live. Dawn the manager was always helpful and made sure all of our needs were meet. Maintenance were on their job as far as making whatever repairs immediately never had to wait long. And the grounds are well kept. I'm so sorry I had to move out. However my stay was pleasurable. Thanks again Dawn!

Nothing but good things to say about our move here. By far the least stressful move we have had.

Parktown This is the best place to live in Metairie if you want space and privacy without all of the maintenance that comes with a single family home. The private patio and park are great! The office team keeps the grounds beautiful!

I lived at Parktowne for almost two years and have nothing but wonderful things to say. Dawn, the property manager, is helpful, attentive, and goes above and beyond. Frank will fix anything you need as soon as possible - normally the very same day. The apartments are clean, pest free, and maintained. I would recommend Parktowne to anyone!

I have been living at the Parktowne Apartments for a couple of months now and I can not properly express my happiness with my home here. This is a well managed and maintained place, which is very hard to find in New Orleans. The manager (Dawn) does an outstanding job as well as the maintenance supervisor (Frank). Our home is huge and has parking for two vehicles, we have a back yard that opens up to a large green area with a walking path, lots of trees and three swimming pools. It is a quite and clean environment. If you are lucky enough to be able to live here you will not regret it.

I have been at Parktowne for about 2 years and I LOVE IT!! The grounds are great and the staff is even better. The apartments are huge and if you have pets, the backyard is a huge plus.

Parktowne apartments are fantastic! All the apartments are three bedroom duplexes and they are very spacious! The apartments circle the block and enclose a private park with walking paths, swings and three beautiful pools! The take dogs which was a must for us. The neighborhood is very convenient with easy access to Airline, Veterans, and I-10. Dawn in the office is caring and the staff who maintain the property are very prompt and courteous! A great place to live.

I have been living here for 2 years now and absolutely love it. Dawn, the manger, is awesome. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet area. My only complaint is that parking stinks if your on Transcontinental and own more then one car. Otherwise its a wonderful place to live!

Dawn, the office manager, stays on top of every little thing we need. She welcomes all of our little maintenance items because she knows it prevents larger problems that nobody wants to deal with down the road. She has never not made time for us. The grounds crew does an impeccable job maintaining the grounds several times per week.

I have been living at Parktowne for almost three years. The community is not only beautiful but unique as well. Every town home has it's own fenced in back yard and personal parking space right in front of your front door. The town homes are perfect for someone who is looking for the square footage and options that a house offers, but without the upkeep. You get the best of both worlds at Parktowne in my opinion. You have the feeling of a home, but the convenience of a rental. All of the back yards have a gate that open into a very beautiful and private park. The park has three pools, play equipment, gazebo, and stunning landscaping. There are a lot of trees that offer privacy as well. I appreciate the attention that the staff shows at our community. The groundskeeper keeps the grounds free of trash, and even brings our garbage can from the road to our home once the trash has been emptied. each time I have a maintenance request it is handled quickly. Dawn is the manager and she makes sure the request is handled promptly. The last request I made was just recently. Frank, the maintenance technician, was at my door in minutes. He fixed everything in less than thirty minutes, and called a contractor to fix the last issue. Dawn had the contractor at my door only minutes late. and the issue was resolved immediately. Both Dawn and Frank called/came to my door to make sure that my husband and I were satisfied. Overall Parktowne is a great place to live.

I have been a resident for a full year. The apartment is nice and in a great area. The apartment is flexible and allows large pets and the manager is always very attentive to maintenance needs and always has a smile. My favorite part is the park in the center of the complex. It has 3 pools so I am always able to find one that's quite no matter what time I go. The grounds are beautiful and always kept up to perfection!

I have been living here for over 10 years through a divorce and Katrina. I have always found the manager to be attentive, quick acting always follows up a maintenance call to verify that the work has been done. The grounds are very well maintained at all times and the manager patrols the property at off hours to ensure the rules are maintained. I raised two children here it is a safe place to live. The only complaint I have is that when contacted about returning after Katrina the girl who contacted me told me all appliances have been replaced including the AC. She seemed to emphasize that. When I looked at the inside unit it was the same unit that had been installed since original construction. That is a shame as after this many years I would imagine it is fairly clogged up by now.

I've been living here since November 2007 and I don't know when I'm going to leave. I said when I moved here that the next time I moved it would be to purchase a home. This place is a little bit on the expensive side but its like you're living in a house my unit is 1950 square feet. We have a living room, dining area/den (big enough for table w/4chairs two bar stools at the counter and full sofa, love seat, and ottoman and still plenty walking room HUGE),kitchen, laundry room, walk-in pantry and walk-in closet all downstairs. Oh, I forgot a half bath and an outdoor storage with a huge fenced private backyard that has a gate leading to the beautiful pool and grounds. WOW. Then upstairs you have three huge bedrooms with two full baths. The master bedroom has its own bath plus two walk-in closets. The other two bedrooms have walk-in closets also. You have your own private driveway that can accommodate two to three cars. I really like living here and although I've considering moving so that I can save money more quickly to buy that house. I have gotten spoiled with the excellent service and the property. If you are looking for a 3bedroom that is like home, this is it.

My family and I moved to Parktowne when it reopened after Hurricane Katrina. The plan was to stay until we found a home to purchase. Although the place is pretty old, EVERYTHING was brand new when we moved in. We chose Parktowne because the townhomes are as big as a house and it looked like it was just built. We have our own driveway and backyard. My son loves the three swimming pools and the huge park at the center of the complex. My husband is spoiled by the fact someone else cuts the grass and handles all of the things that break. I guess my favorite is the washer/dryer connections and huge pantry/closets. Two and a half bathrooms are also a big plus. Anyway, four years later, we are still here and at this rate probably will not leave anytime soon! At a time when customer service is falling to the wayside, the Manager of the property and the other people who work at Parktowne are kind, professional and always go the extra mile to make sure we are taken care of. We appreciate them very much.

I loved living in Parktowne. It's a little pricey. But it's very nice and peaceful there. The place is huge. You get your own drive way. The mamager is awesome. I highly recommend. I would still be there if it wasn't for a roommate issue.
