Best Living Choice The staff are very friendly and professional. The ladies (Tan and Jeanne) at the leasing office were helpful since I met them to view the apartment. I’ve been living here for a month and they are still of great assistance! Our maintenance man, Jeffery, is very responsive, professional and friendly! This complex is very well kept and clean from the laundry rooms, parking lots, walkways, pools, and landscaping. I love my apartment, its very spacious, clean, and comforting. Two of my favorite parts of the complex is the gated access and diverse neighbors!

Maintenance workers are nice and professional. Great closet space! However, I would not recommend this place for people who don't want to be around tobacco or weed smoke. Most of the tenants smoke and the AC units are connected to the apt next door, so if your neighbors smoke, your apartment gets the second hand smoke pumped right in. My apartment smells like my neighbor's weed! Also, a few of the neighbors on the North side are inconsiderate and play music extremely loud at all hours of the night, so it is not consistently quiet. The gates brake occasionally and have to stay open, but even when they are secured, good luck getting a functional gate pass. Mine doesn't work, and they said they can't replace it.

We have been living at the shadows for about 10+ years every since we lost our home during Katrina and the place is great. But when it comes to the maintaince around the place it is horrible. We have been trying to communicate with the leasing office over years, about things we needed new in the apartment. From the broken door by the washer machine, the leak that comes from the vent, because of the air, and from even asking them for new carpet. Love the location, and love the fact that it is near everything, but the fact that things are broken and we have been living here over 5+ years is not fair. But yet, the gate remains broken off and on, and when it is fix they have a problem with people trying to get out because their ride is outside, yet I remind you once again the gate is always broken. Granted this place has been awesome to us, but the leasing manager is a little unfair, when it comes to certain things.
